Enthusiastic Convention of BSNL Casual Contract Workers held at Ernakulum:

BSNLEU, Kerala circle and BSNLCCLU comrades were trying seriously to restart the circle union functioning in Kerala circle since long time under the guidance of CITU. Now, we have received a good news that an enthusiastic state level convention of Casual Contract Laborers of BSNL was held at Ernakulum on 16.03.2024 at K.G.Bose Bhawan, Ernakulum.  

Com. Nanda Kumar, CITU state leader inaugurated the convention. He called upon the workers to play an important role in the next parliament elections. He also reminded that it is the responsibility of workers to elect such a government at the center which will care about BSLNL and BSNL workers. Com. Ali Akbar, CITU, Com. Vijay Kumar, BSNLEU (CHQ) Com.P.A.Babu, CCWF, Com. N. Suresh, V.P, BSNLCCWF, Com. Prem Kumar, AIBDPA spoke in the convention. After a detailed discussion on the issues of Casual Contract laborers, the convention took a decision to strengthen the CCLU in Kerala circle. In the end, election of Office bearers took place and the house elected Com. T. Sunil Kumar as working president, com. C.K. Vijiyan as General Secretary and com. Shibu, as Treasurer.
