4th All India Conference of BSNL CCWF will be held in Kolkata – Reception Committee formed to make the Conference successfully.

The 4^th All India Conference of BSNL Casual and Contract Workers Federation is going to be held at Kolkata on 12th & 13th August, 2023. A Reception Committee was formed in CTO hall, Kolkata on 3rd June, 2023, for the conference. The reception committee was formed with the representatives of BSNLEU, AIBDPA, BSNLCMU and CTTMU. The convener of BSNL Coordination Committee of Calcutta Telephones Com. Sisir Roy conducted the meeting of formation of Reception Committee. The convener of BSNL Coordination Committee of West Bengal Circle Com. Animesh Mitra narrated in details about the preparation, the plan and programme of the conference. He said that this organisation was formed in the year 2008 in Kolkata.Today about 15 years have elapsed BSNL is on verge of destruction, the contract workers are being retrenched, at this backdrop this conference is going to held. This conference will be held on 12^th and 13^th August, 2023 in Kolkata at ‘Sramik Bhavan’ with 200 delegates from 20 circles. The Reception Committee of 50 members was formed from the meeting of formation reception committee on 3^rd June with Com. Anadi Sahoo, Secretary CITU, West Bengal, as Chairman, Com. Tapas Ghosh as Working President, Com. Tarak Kundu and Com. Pradipta Ghosh as Joint Secretary and Com. Tapas Banerjee as Treasurer.  Com. Sujoy Sarkar, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, West Bengal Circle and Com. Sankar Nepal, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, CTD placed their plans and programmes before the house along with other leaders with an aim to make the conference a grand success. A steering committee of 7 members headed by Com.Animesh Mitra and Com.Sisir Roy has also formed for day to day functioning of Reception Committee.
