Four Telangana BSNL Contact workers were asking the vendors and BSNL authority to pay their pending wages. But neither the vendor nor the Telangana BSNL authority did not pay heed to the appeal of the 4 contract workers. As the vendor was practically denying to pay the pending wages from March,2024 to May,2024. The TBSNL CCELU was compelled to file case with the RLC, Hyderabad through Samadhan. GS, TBSNL CCELU attended the hearing on 26.11.2024, 9.1.2025 and final hearing on 13.03.2025.  Most interestingly the vendors and the Telangana BSNL authority as the principal employer were absent on the dates of hearing. During the course of hearing on 24.02.2025 the vendor paid all the pending wages to the 4 contract workers to their bank account. RLC also imposed penalty against the vendor as compensation of Rs.1,500/- per worker for delay in payment of wages and considering  the nature of jobs performed by these contract workers and it is to be paid within 30 days of the receipt of the order.

This is an example of getting justice from RLC. We must try this avenue i.e., lodging complain with the RLC against any injustice towards our contract workers.
