BSNL Corporate Office issues fresh directions to CGMs for strict compliance with Labour Laws.

BSNL Casual Contract Workers Federation (BSNLCCWF) has repeatedly raised complaints regarding violations of labour laws affecting contract and casual labourers in BSNL. BSNLEU has also taken up these issues with the BSNL Management at various forums. BSNLCCWF had submitted representations to the Chief Labour Commissioner seeking intervention. Following a recent meeting in the Ministry of Labour & Employment on labour law compliance and welfare measures, the BSNL Corporate Office has issued fresh instructions to all CGMs. The order directs strict compliance with all labour laws, including timely payment of wages, implementation of EPFO and ESIC benefits, and fulfillment of all statutory obligations towards contract and casual labourers.
