It is not good that the BSNL Management is still continuing it’s silence to revise the wage of the casual labourers. Though, the BSNL Management had taken a decision to revise the wages of casual labourers in November, 2018, in the 37th National Council meeting to consider the wage of casual labourers based on the 7th CPC recommendation. But, 4 years passed. Nothing happened so far. The casual labourers can break their patients at any time and start the agitational programme. BSNL Employees Union, the Main Recognised Union in BSNL, had raised this issue in several occasions before the Management. But, the Management still avoiding the issue and kept pending. The BSNLCCWF once again submitted a memorandum to the CMD BSNL on 24.03.2023, to revise the wage of the casual labourers without further delay.
