BSNLCCWF Calls for Gate Meetings on 1st July in Support of All India Strike on 9th July 2025.

The All India General Strike called by Central Trade Unions on 9th July 2025 is gaining momentum across the country. In line with this, the BSNL Casual and Contract Workers Federation (BSNLCCWF), in its Central Executive Committee (CEC) meeting held on 22nd June 2025, has resolved to organise gate meetings at all BSNL exchanges and offices on 1st July 2025 as a part of the strike mobilisation campaign. The CEC meeting discussed the preparations for the upcoming strike. The strike notice has already been circulated, and the CHQ has dispatched posters highlighting the key demands to all circle unions.

The strike call is centered around opposition to the anti-worker Labour Codes pushed by the Modi Government, and will also draw attention to:

• The plight of SLA contract workers and casual labourers in BSNL.
• The anti-PSU stance of the government, and its systematic attempt to undermine BSNL.

These issues have been prominently featured in the strike notice and campaign materials. The 9th July strike is not just a protest, but a united voice against exploitation and injustice. We urge all our comrades to take this campaign seriously and ensure that the gate meetings on 1st July are conducted with full participation and visibility.
