BSNLCCWF formed in Gujarat circle.

Gujarat BSNL Casual and Contract Workers Union formed on 8^th May, 2023 at Ahmedabad. It was a good convention of Casual and Contract Workers who came from different part of state. Com.V.P. Prajapati, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, inaugurated the Convention and Com. Sunil Thakkar, narrated the necessity of formation of Union in Gujarat. Around 50 comrades participated in the Convention from 8 districts. 9 contract labours explained their painful experience while performing duty in BSNL. Com. Animesh Mitra, Secretary General, calls upon the workers to form a Union and fight against BSNL Management to save BSNL and to save casual contract workers too. He also explained the role of Central Government and attack on contract workers in BSNL. Com.Amit Chouhan, Circle Treasurer, BSNLEU, also addressed the meeting. A resolution on the subject “Save BSNL and Save Contract Casual Workers” was also passed in the Convention. A body of 11 comrades also formed to lead the Union in Gujarat circle. Com. V.P. Prajapati and Com.Sunil Thakkar, became the President and Circle Secretary of the newly formed circle union.
