BSNLCCWF, Haryana circle conference held at Rohtak (Bhiwani) on 22.07.2023.

Contract and casual workers in Haryana circle has taken a decision to reorganise the circle union to fight for the interest of the workers in BSNL. In this connection, they came in Bhiwani Telephone Exchange on 22.07.2023 and attend the circle conference of the BSNLCCWF. Com.Pradeep Punia, District Secretary, BSNLEU, Rohtak, presided over the meeting and Com.Ramesh Chand, senior leader of BSNLEU, gave the welcome address. Com.Ramesh Chand, Ex. Organising Secretary, BSNLEU, explained the present situation and narrated the pathetic condition of contract workers in Haryana circle. It is about 35 delegates from 4 districts came in the conference. 11 contract workers delivered their speech and narrated the sufferings and painful experience of the contract workers. Retrenchment, pending wages, violation of the Labour Act and denial of Social Securities are the main issues raised by the delegates. Com.Animesh Mitra, Secretary General, BSNLCCWF, replied all the queries of delegates and explained the role of the Modi government to destroy the PSUs in our country including BSNL. A circle office bearers list was declared with Com.Ramesh Chand as President, Com.Pradeep Punia as Vice President, Com.Balwan Singh as Circle Secretary. 3 comrades are nominated from the house for participation in the All India Conference in Kolkata.
