In response to the call given by the BSNL Coordination Committee, the BSNLCCWF has taken serious efforts to mobilise casual and contract labourers for the March to Parliament programme to be held in New Delhi on 07.08.2026. It is appreciable that the Coordination Committee has highlighted the important demands of casual and contract labourers, including stopping retrenchment, ensuring minimum wages, extending the benefit of 7th CPC pay scales, payment of IDA arrears, etc. In this connection, an emergent meeting of the BSNLCCWF Secretariat was held on 22.07.2026 to discuss the issue. The Secretariat meeting decided to call upon all CHQ Office Bearers and Circle Secretaries to make serious efforts to conduct a widespread campaign among casual and contract labourers regarding the March to Parliament programme to be held on 07.08.2026.
