As decided in the Delhi National Convention of BSNLCCWF, a countrywide Call Attention Day will be observed on 25th March, 2026 to highlight the Charter of Demands adopted in the Convention. The Convention has emphasised key issues concerning contract and casual labourers, including prevention of retrenchment, implementation of 7th CPC wages for casual labourers, ensuring minimum wages, EPF and ESI benefits, re-engagement of retrenched workers, and their utilisation for the expansion of BSNL services including 4G and 5G rollout. It also demands regularisation of casual labourers, repeal of the four Labour Codes, withdrawal of anti-worker policies, and protection of BSNL and other PSUs. Circle Secretaries are requested to coordinate with BSNLEU at Circle and District levels to organise the programme effectively and ensure its grand success.
