BSNLCCWU, Chennai Organised a Powerful Demonstration Programme.

On 21st  February, 2025 BSNLCCWU, Chennai Circle, organised a powerful demonstration programme at Chennai in demand of minimum wage, proper implementation of Social Security e.g. EPF, ESI, continuation of CE of Contract Labours even contractor is changed and immediate payment of pending wages for certain sections of Contract Workers. The demonstration was organised under the banner of BSNLCCWU, Chennai Telephones and it was adequately supported by BSNLEU & AIBDPA, Chennai Circle. About 60 comrades out of which 25 comrades from BSNLCCWU assembled in the programme. The demonstration programme was presided over by Com. M. Sridhara Subramanian, Circle President, BSNLCCWU, Chennai Circle. Com. S. Chellappa, AGS, BSNLEU addressed the gathering and narrated about the steps taken by BSNLCCWF and BSNLEU jointly to resolve the problems of the contract Labourers. He assured that BSNLEU will extend their full cooperation in the movement against the delay in settling the problems of the Contract Labourers. Com. B. Basha, Circle Secretary, BSNLCCWU and Com. V. Kuppan, Circle President, AIBDPA also addressed the gathering.  Com. Ramesh Kumar, Circle Treasurer, BSNLCCWU gave vote of thanks thereafter, the demonstration programme was concluded.
