Payment of pending wages to the contract workers has become a very serious issue even after getting assurances from the CMD BSNL in the several occasions. We had a chance to meet Shri P.C. Bhatt, GM(BFCI), on 18th November, 2021, who told us that the Corporate Office has allotted sufficient fund to the circle heads during last few months to clear the pending wages. Though we know that this is not the real fact. In the recent past, the Corporate Office has allotted some fund to the circles in November, 2021, in connection with the festival occasion, which was poor amount to meet up the pending wages in most of the circles.

So, you are requested to send the figure up to December, 2021, about the pending wages in your circle. We are trying to take up the issue again with the Management for payment of the wages to the contract workers. Please note that the pending wages in the old system and the current wages in SLA / outsourcing system should be mentioned separately.
