Circle level organizational meeting of BSNLCCWF held at Haryana.

BSNLCCWF is functioning in Haryana circle in a difficult situation as the contract workers are being retrenched in Haryana where the workers are demanding the minimum wages and social securities. To discuss all these issues, an emergent meeting of circle committee held at Rewari telephone exchange, Haryana, on 8th June, 2025. Com.Ramesh Chand, President, BSNLCCWF, Haryana circle, presided and Com.Balwan Singh, Circle Secretary, BSNLCCWF, narrated the Organisational position in Haryana. It is reported that about 100 members in 4 districts have already joined with the organisation. But, in fact, 500 workers are engaged in contract and outsource job in Haryana circle. About 15 contract workers came in the meeting and narrated their pathetic condition. Com.Bipin Sony, District Secretary, BSNLEU and Com.Parveen Kumar, Organising Secretary, BSNLEU (CHQ), have also delivered their valuable speech. Com.Animesh Mitra, Secretary General, call on the workers to organise effective and powerful struggle to stop these exploitation by the vendors and officers. He also explained the wage code bill and requested the worker to join the countrywide strike on 09th July, 2025. At the end, Com.Ramesh Chand, announced the future course of action. Com.Sharma gave the vote of thanks to the delegates who have attended the meeting.
