Corporate Office issues one more important order on Contract and Outsourced Workers engaged in BSNL

In a significant development, the BSNL Corporate Office has issued instructions to all CGMs for ensuring timely payment of wages and extension of statutory social security benefits to contract and outsourced workers engaged in BSNL. The issue has been actively pursued by the Central Labour Commissioner (CLC), New Delhi, and also by BSNLCCWF through a series of representations to the BSNL Management. Responding to these interventions, the AGM, WS&I Cell, Corporate Office, vide Letter No. BSNLCO-RSTG/21(11)/3/2020-RSTG dated 01.06.2026, has directed strict compliance with the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure guidelines regarding timely wage payment to outsourced manpower and monitoring of contractor accountability. This order provides an important opportunity to address many long-pending grievances of casual, contract and outsourced workers engaged in BSNL. All Circle Secretaries are requested to take up the matter vigorously with their respective Circle Administrations and ensure effective implementation of these instructions for the benefit of the workers.
