Demand for payment of pending wages for the Contract Workers for the year 2024. – Secretary General met PGM(SR) and discussed on the subject.

CHQ is receiving so many complaints from the circle unions that the Contract Workers are not getting their wages pending for the year 2024. It is about 4- 11th Months in the year 2024, the wages is pending in most of the circles on the plea that the Corporate Office is not allotting sufficient fund to the circles. Earlier, we had taken up the issue with shri P.C. Bhatt, PGM(CBB), and a letter was handed over to him on 14th January, 2025. But, the situation still remains unchaged. Today, on 4th February, 2025 Com. Animesh Mitra SG, BSNLCCWF met Smt. Anita Johri PGM(Estt.) and discussed on the subject. A letter was also handed over to the BSNL management. After reading the letter carefully, Smt. Anita Johri PGM (Estt.) took the initiative to discuss the matter with PGM(CBB) and forwarded the letter to him.
