Demand for scraping the outsourcing system raised in the meeting of AUAB with CMD.

There was a meeting of AUAB with CMD, BSNL which was held on 27th July,2021. President of BSNLEU, Com. Animesh Mitra was present in the meeting as a representative of BSNLEU. In this discussion there was a demand in the 10 point charter of demands to scrape the outsourcing process through SLA. All the representatives of AUAB unanimously told that there was no improvement of BSNL Company by introducing SLA system. On the contrary we have lost our customers and we have loss of revenue. Com. Animesh Mitra, President, informing that about thirty thousand contract workers were retrenched within past two years and keeping their wages pending for more than one year, raised the demand to reintroduce the JCL system. CMD replied that BSNL is committed to pay the pending wages and review of SLA system would be made and the circles would be asked to give their views after scrutiny its pros and cons.
