Enthusiastic CEC meeting of BSNLCCWF held at New Delhi.

The Central Executive Committee meeting of BSNLCCWF was held with great enthusiasm in KG Bose Bhawan at New Delhi on 1st October, 2024. The meeting was presided over by the President of BSNLCCWF Com. P.Abhimanyu. In the inaugural speech, Com. Abhimanyu, President, BSNLCCWF, has explained the present situation in BSNL and also guided the casual and contract workers for the future course of action. Com. Animesh Mitra, Secretary General, said while placing the draft report that BSNLCCWF still today has made its strong position after coping with the retrenchment policy and SLA policy of BSNL. It is reported that BSNLCCWF had handed over a charter of demands to CMD despite of this no effective measure was taken by the management and in turn BSNLCCWF was compelled to lodge complaint with the CLC at Delhi. In the meantime BSNLCCWF met Director (HR) and Director (Finance) and demanded to take necessary steps to pay the pending wages, DA and wage revision of casual labourers as per 7th CPC. In this important CEC meeting 17 representatives from 11 states participated in this meeting and they discussed the problems of casual contract workers and 10 important decisions were taken in the meeting.
