Enthusiastic Circle Conference of BSNLCCWF, AP circle, held at Vijayawada on 17.08.2025.

An enthusiastic and well attended Circle Conference of BSNLCCWF, AP circle, held at Vijayawada on 17.08.2025. Com.Animesh Mitra, Secretary General, attended the conference and explained the attack on casual contract labourers in BSNL particularly after introduction of SLA system. BSNLEU, AP Circle, took the initiative for holding this conference at Balotsava Bhavan, Vijayawada, where the contract and casual labourers came in good number from all over the SSAs in the circle to make the meeting a grand success. Veteran leader Com.P.Asokababu, hoisted the Union Flag and inaugurated the conference. Com.S.A. Kareem, President, CCWF, AP circle, presided over the meeting. Com.K.Ramadeavi, Vice President (CHQ), Com. S.Krishna Balaji CS, BSNLEU, AP Circle, Com.B. Paripurnachari, GS, BSNLCCWF, Telangana attended and addressed the meeting.

At the outset, Com.K.Prabakar Rao, CS, BSNLCCWF, gave the welcome address and also placed the secretariat report for the discussion among the members. The delegates came from the districts have narrated the field level condition, particularly the attack of retrenchment of contract workers and also the violation of labour act including payment of minimum wages. At the concluding part of the meeting, the newly elected General Secretary and All India Vice President of BSNLEU, were honoured with shawl memento by AP circle.
