Enthusiastic circle conference of BSNLCCWF, NE-I circle held at Shillong with good involvement of the contract and casual labourers.

Circle Conference of BSNLCCWF, NE-I circle held at Shillong on 10.06.2023 with a good mobilisation of contract and casual labourers. The delegates came from Meghalaya and Tripura and discussed on the present situation of BSNL in depth. The Conference was started at 10:00 am after the flag hoisting by Com.Shivjee Ray, Organising Secretary, BSNLEU (CHQ). Com. J.L. Das, the leader of Meghalaya Joint Council of Trade Unions, inaugurated the conference and explained the present situation in our country and particularly the attack of Modi government on the PSUs and towards working class also. Com.Shankar Malakar, Circle Secretary, BSNLCCWF, NE-I circle, placed the secretary report for discussion. Com.Tapas Ghosh, Working President, BSNLCCWF, was the main speaker from CHQ who narrated the present situation in BSNL and struggle of casual contract labourers throughout the country. A list of the office bearers of the circle union, headed by Com.Shivjee Ray as President, Com.Shankar Malakar as Circle Secretary has been declared unanimously in the conference. Com.Satyajit Dev, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA and Com.Shivjee Ray, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU, NE-I circle also spoken in the conference.
