Extended CWC meeting of BSNLCCWLU, Telangana circle held at Warangal on 18.08.2025.

The convention of BSNL Casual & Contract workers Labour Union, Telangana Circle was held on 18-08-2025 at Warangal under the presidentship of Com.M. Thirumala Charyulu, President, BSNLCCWLU, Telangana Circle. Nearly 40 contract workers came from different part of Telangana circle who have narrated their sufferings and demands also in the convention. Com. Paripurnachari, Circle Secretary has submitted the report on union activities during the last year. Contract workers discussed on report submitted by the Circle Secretary and finally approved the report. Com.Animesh Mitra, Secretary General, BSNLCCWF, addressed the convention and narrated the role of Modi government and also the BSNL Management to exploit the contract workers in BSNL. He also explained the new system SLA, introduced in BSNL for which the contract workers are being harassed or exploited. Com.J. Sampath Rao, AGS, BSNLEU, Com.G.Sambasiva Rao, CS, BSNLEU, Ramachandradu, CS, AIBDPA were also attended and addressed the convention. Finally, the Telangana Casual Contract Employees Union's Convention unanimously passed the following 4 resolutions. It was emphasised in the convention that the union will take proper care to implement the following decisions:-

(1) EPF & ESI should be applied to outsourcing workers working in all types of work in BSNL. (2) Nationwide protest & dharna programs should be organised at CGMT office on 19th September, on the issues of BSNL contract workers. (3) New TBSNL CCELU committees should be formed in Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Karimnagar, Adilabad, and Hyderabad in Telangana BSNL business areas/office areas. (4) Identify and motivate the outsourced workers engaged in CSC, housekeeping, electrical and civil wings in other places where BSNL services are provided.
