Nationwide sit-in demonstration programme on the issues of the contractual casual labourers held on 19.09.2025, at various CGMT Offices in our country. BSNLCCWF had taken the decision to submit the genuine demands of the casual contract labourers to the Management by submitting memorandum. BSNLEU had also taken the decision to extend active support and solidarity to mobilise the regular employees in the struggle. CHQ have received the information that in various circles the regular employees and the contract labourers have organised the programme jointly and submitted the memorandum to the authority. The CHQ has also endorsed the charter of demands of the casual contract labourers to the BSNL Management through a memorandum. The involvement of the regular staff and the mobilisation of the casual contract labourers will certainly compelled the Management to settle the issue with a peaceful negotiation. Otherwise both the unions will go for the trade union action.
