Lingering to pay DA to the Casual Mazdoors - BSNLCCWF writes letter to Director (HR) demanding his intervention.

The month August of 2024 is ended. But still the Casual Mazdoors did not get the enhanced rate of DA with salary of August. Two instalments of DA have already been due in the year 2024. The order for payment of 1st instalment of DA has been issued on 3rd June, 2024 from Ministry of Finance. According to the calculation 9% enhanced DA is to be paid from the month of June itself. We have drawn the attention of SR. GM (Estt) but with no result. This week we came to know after discussion with the respective officer that the file of DA is lying pending with CMD BSNL for his approval despite the signature made by Director (Finance). Lingering to pay DA only to the Casual workers. BSNLCCWF has written a letter to Director (HR) on 29th August, 2024 protesting the lingering on the part of the management to pay the enhanced rate of DA and demanded his intervention in this regard.
