Meeting of Circle leadership of BSNLCCWF is continuing in different circles.

Meeting in UP (West) circle:-

It was good attendance of the BSNLCCWF leadership in the online meeting of UP West circle. Com. Ansar Ali presided over the meeting and Com.VAN Namboodiri inaugurated the meeting. It has been reported that a good number of contract workers are being retrenched for which our organisation has been affected a lot. At the same time the members raised the demand for payment of pending wages. After hearing all the issues from the members Com. Animesh Mitra replied and explained the present situation.

Meeting in Karnataka circle :-

An enthusiastic meeting of BSNLCCWF held in Karnataka circle. It was an online meeting and Com. H.P. Sudarshan, Circle Secretary, BSNLEU presided over the meeting. Com. Mahantesh, Circle Secretary, Karnataka BSNL Non-permanent Workers Union, initiated the proceedings and placed the organisational report. Com. C.K. Gundanna, veteran leader of BSNLEU, explained the present situation and the hardship of the contract workers and the negative role of the circle management. Com. V.A.N. Namboodiri reported the plan of the Modi Govt. to destroy the PSUs including BSNL. Com. Animesh Mitra narrated the reporting of Central Secretariat as well as the outcome of the meeting with CMD. After detail discussion it was decided that the circle union will take some organisational programme to involve the contract workers in Trade Union activities.
