Payment for pending wages for Contract Workers - BSNLCCWF, CHQ submitted letter to the Corporate Office Administration.

It has come to our notice that the contractual labourers are not getting their wages in various circles, in adequate of fund or problems related to budget. Even, after introduction of the SLA system, this problem is still continue in various circles. In some Circles, our leadership and leadership of BSNLEU met the Circle Administration for taking immediate action for Labour payment. During discussion, the Circle Administration informed about the problem of Budge allotment from the Corporate Office. It is leant as the Corporate Office has not arranged sufficient fund in the Budget, the Circle Administration are facing huddles to make the labour payment though the vendors have submitted their Bills to the Administration. In this connection, BSNLCCWF, CHQ has submitted a representation to Shri P. C. Bhatt, PGM (CBB) with request for taking early action to clear all the pending bills within a stipulated period, only then Contractor Labourers make a payments from the Vendors. All Circle Secretaries are requested to submit the latest report to the CHQ Union in details on priority basis, so that it can be discussed to the authority at an early date.
