The Ministry of Labour and Employment Department issued a notification against exploiting contract workers working in Govt. Establishment.

The ministry of Labour and Employment Development has issued a notification to the officers in Govt. Establishment for taking proper care to avoid the exploitation of the workers engaged in an outsourced system in Govt. Establishment. They have mentioned to incorporate six statutory obligations in the contract documents to avoid such exploitation to the contract workers engaged in the outsource system.

Circle Secretaries are requested to take initiative to incorporate the above six clauses in the contract (tender) document. They are also requested to submit memorandum to CGMs in this regard.
